This collection began as a continuation of the Wired series.  I wanted the challenge of increasingly complicated patterns, which I found in various towers and cranes.  Like the Wired series, the silhouettes are all cut from one piece of paper and suspended in a shadow box.   The three pieces at the bottom are displayed in wooden light boxes, with the silhouettes laid over photographic backgrounds that are lit from behind.  I made this work between January and May 2009.
